Root Canal

A  root canal is performed to remove diseased and infected tissue within a tooth. The process leaves the inside of the root disinfected so that we may fill and seal to prevent further infection. A tooth that has been root canaled may sometimes need a crown to prevent fracture of the compromised tooth structure after therapy.
